客体可感知或可想象到的任何事物。客体既包括客观存在并可以主观感知的事物（具体的如树木、房屋，抽象的如物价、自由），也包括思维开拓的事物。 客体是相对于主体而言的。处于客体的事物，当作用于某一具体事物出现或者具体到某一事物的时候，就会衍化为主体的形态，其它与之处于关系的物，就变成了客体。 处于主体的事物，在进行主体的客体层面分析于其它事物的关系面联系的时候，会在演示层面上表现为客体的形态，客体简单来说就是自己接触的但不属于自己的实体。
