人性假设，管理学上指对人的本性的根本看法。在最早的管理发展的历史中，人们持“经济人”的人性假设，后来，逐渐出现“社会人”、“自我实现人”、“复杂人”的人性假设，并以这些不同的人性假设为基础形成不同的管理哲学，从而产生了不同的管理措施和管理政策。在中国，对人性的理论有“性善论”、“性恶论”和“流水人性论”。
