间接言语行为是言语行为的一种。指一个话段的语言形式不直接反映其传递目的，例如“我觉得冷”(I'm feeling cold)可用来要求别人关上门。如果某人说这句话就是按字面要表达他觉得冷，那就是一种直接言语行为，即断言。日常语言交际中歇后语等的运用也是间接言语行为。
间接言语行为（Indirect Speech Act） 指一种以言行事通过另一种以言行事间接地实现，间接言语行为可分为规约性的间接言语行为和非规约性的间接言语行为。
