所谓的点对点显示也被称为1:1 Map或者Dot by Dot，简单理解就是视频源的图象构成像素的每一个点，与液晶显示设备面板物理像素点一一对应。 对于液晶电视这样的固定像素显示设备，只有当视频源分辨率与其物理像素一一对应时，才能表现出应有的画质，无论清晰度、锐利度都是最佳状态。如果不能与之一一对应，那么图象就会模糊、发虚，类似拍照的时候没聚焦或手抖了的照片效果。可以说点对点与非点对点的效果差别是巨大的。点对点对静止画面影响巨大，尤其是看文字的时候一定要点对点，否则连字都可能看不清。点对点对动态画面也有影响，不过影响不大。
