麦皮即麦麸,是小麦加工磨取面粉后筛出的麦粒种皮。 麦皮主要成分包括:纤维、糊粉、一些矿物质和维生素 性味甘凉,可收敛汗液。所以通常会用来,作枕头使用。 有一定的药用价值。《本草纲目》中曰:“麸皮乃麦皮也,与浮(小麦)同性,而止汗之功次于浮麦,盖浮麦有肉也。”《本草拾遗》谓其“和面作饼,止泄痢,调中去热,健人。以醋拌蒸热,袋盛,烫腰脚伤折处,止痛散血。”
