释迦牟尼佛的十大弟子之一，（？～公元前463）为梵语 Ananda 的音译。意为「欢喜」,「喜庆」原是释迦牟尼佛的堂弟，后跟随佛陀出家，佛陀五十五岁时，选阿难为常随侍者，当侍者达二十五年。因为他专注地服侍佛陀，谨记无误佛的一言一语， 因此被称为「多闻第一」。佛灭后第一结集由阿难诵出三藏中的经藏。
