表里，biǎo-lǐ 〖one's outwardness and innerthoughts〗∶表里是辨别病位外内浅深的一对纲领。表与里是相对的概念，如躯壳与脏腑相对而言，躯壳为表，脏腑为里；脏与腑相对而言，腑属表，脏属里；经络与脏腑相对而言，经络属表，脏腑属里；经络中三阳经与三阴经相对而言，三阳经属表，三阴经属里；皮肤与筋骨相对而言，皮肤为表，筋骨为里等。因此，对于病位的外内浅深，都不可作绝对地理解。
