另外，北京土话里也有“老老”的说法，比如：“你老老！” 表达一种愤怒和否定的情绪。这里的“老老”是一个满语词的音译，即满音汉字。据康熙五十二年（1713年）所编《大清全书》卷十载：“老老指乱谈。多言无济之人。恶调。”词意后来演变成“不相信”、“不可能”、“没门儿”、“不行”等意。所谓“恶调”，指北京话里特有的“上音变调”韵味，原满语两个音节，皆发“捞”音，经变成京腔，“恶调”后，为加重语气，第一音节发成了“老”音，这样“老捞”的发音，就更具有浓郁的北京土话色彩。
