热液又称汽水热液,是地质作用中以水为主体,含有多种具有强烈化学活性的挥发份的高温热气溶液。在不同的地质背景条件下,可形成不同组成、不同来源的热液。温度多在50-400℃。组成物质除水以外,含H2S,HCL,HF, SO2, CO, CO2, H2, N2、KCl、NaCl、B(OH)4等挥发组分,金属离子有K、Na、Ca、Mg、Fe、Cu、Pb、Zn、Au、Ag、W、Sn。是后生地质活动的重要参与者与关键性因素。对于绝大多数金属矿产和变质岩的形成起着决定性作用
