温度梯度（temperature gradient）是自然界中气温、水温或土壤温度随陆地高度或水域及土壤深度变化而出现的阶梯式递增或递减的现象。是描述温度在特定的区域环境内最迅速的变化会向何方向，以及是何种速率的物理量。 温度梯度是一维的数量，单位是摄氏（华氏）度/每单位长度（在特定的温度范围内），以SI单位是每米K（K/m）。温度梯度是一个矢量，通常把温度增加的方向作为正方向。
