朗诵，指大声朗读。就是把文字作品转化为有声语言的创作活动。朗，即声音的响亮有力；诵，即背诵。朗诵，就是用响亮有力的声音，结合各种语言手段来完善地表达作品思想感情的一种语言艺术。朗诵是口语交际的一种重要形式。朗诵不仅可以提高阅读能力，增强艺术鉴赏，更为重要的是，通过朗诵，读者可以陶冶性情，开阔胸怀，文明言行，增强理解；小者，可以有效地培养对语言词汇细致入微的体味能力，以及确立口语表述最佳形式的自我鉴别能力。因此，要想成为口语表述与交际的高手，就不能漠视朗诵。
