日头，指日子；天（多见于早期白话）或指白天（多见于早期白话）。见《新编五代史平话·梁史上》：“过了七十个日头， 有苗归服。”在中国的非官话方言，如赣语，徽语，吴语，晋语，湘语，粤语等方言中依然使用。
脸面明亮如日头，衣裳洁白如光。
His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light.
日头出来一晒，因为没有根，就枯干了。
But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
日头月亮，你们要赞美他。 放光的星宿，你们都要赞美他。
Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
