斯蒂芬·斯梅尔（Stephen Smale，1930年7月15日－），美国著名数学家，美国加州大学伯克利分校荣誉退休教授、香港城市大学教授，1966年菲尔兹奖得主、2007年沃尔夫奖得主。 斯梅尔因证明了五维及以上的庞加莱猜想而成名，然后转向研究动力系统并作出重要成就，1998年他还勾划出十八个重要的数学问题（Smale's Problems）给二十一世纪的数学家参考研究。
