大气效应（Effect of atmospheric insulation）又称大气保温效应。简称温室效应或花房效应。因地球大气对太阳短波辐射基本透明，而对地表长波辐射具有强烈的选择吸收，大气吸收了长波辐射，同时又放射长波辐射，其中一部分逸向太空，另一部分又返回地表和低层大气，从而使有大气存在时地表的实际温度高于无大气存在时地表的平均温度。大气层的这种增温作用即为大气效应。一种自然现象。
