中国国家奖学金是由中华人民共和国教育部颁发给普通本科高校、高等职业学校与普通高等学校全日制研究生的一项奖学金。旨在激励普通本科高校、高等职业学校学生勤奋学习、努力进取，在德、智、体、美等方面得到全面发展。 全国高校在校生大概有2500多万人，每年只能有5万人荣获国家奖学金，获奖比例约占0.2%，获奖学生每人奖励8000元，作为大学生能获得国家奖学金是一项莫大的荣誉。
