双元制是源于德国的一种职业培训模式，所谓双元，是指职业培训要求参加培训的人员必须经过两个场所的培训，一元是指职业学校，其主要职能是传授与职业有关的专业知识；另一元是企业或公共事业单位等校外实训场所，其主要职能是让学生在企业里接受职业技能方面的专业培训。这种模式在德国的企业中应用很广，近几年也被我国的一些企业借鉴或采用。
但是，双元制也受到了压力。
