仿真软件（英文simulation software），专门用于仿真的计算机软件。它与仿真硬件同为仿真的技术工具。仿真软件是从50年代中期开始发展起来的。它的发展与仿真应用、算法、计算机和建模等技术的发展相辅相成。1984年出现了第一个以数据库为核心的仿真软件系统，此后又出现采用人工智能技术（专家系统）的仿真软件系统。这个发展趋势将使仿真软件具有更强、更灵活的功能、能面向更广泛的用户。目前比较风行的是虚拟现实仿真软件，比如虚拟现实仿真平台（VR-Platform）
