“人之死（death of men）”是法国思想家米歇尔·福柯 （Michel Foucault，1926年10月15日－1984年6月25日）在《事物的秩序》（《词与物》）一书中提出的一个关键概念，是指作为某种知识形态和观念形态的人的死亡，以人为中心的学科的死亡，以康德的人类学为基本配置的哲学的死亡。西方人文科学历史研究表明：18世纪以前，人学被神学掩盖，并不作为人文学科的中心。该概念的提出虽然备受争议，但也因此，“人”的概念在十八世纪末期之后得以进入知识学科。
