不靠谱原意是指演奏乐器者，不依靠乐谱，即兴创作发挥而演奏乐曲，后引申为技艺高超。现比喻不切实际的言论、意见、方案、计划、措施等，极易造成不良后果。现指远离公认的准则，规范。其含义也有以下四种说法：爱卖关子的人；爱吹牛的人；爱要面子的人；爱扯淡的人。也被用来指爆红的极品美女魔术团队“不靠谱”。
