abstract:BESETOHA is a forum in which four representative East Asian Universities—Peking University, Seoul National University, the University of Tokyo and Hanoi National University—meet to discuss the present state and future directions of university education, basic education and educational culture. The BESETOHA forum takes its name from the first two Roman characters of the names of the participating universities.
作为东亚四所著名的高校，中国的北京大学（Peking University, Beijing）、韩国的首尔大学（Seoul National University）、日本的东京大学（The University of Tokyo）和越南的河内大学（Vietnam National University, Hanoi）从1999年起每年召开一次校长峰会，并以四所大学所在城市英文名的前两个字母组成“BESETOHA”，来命名这一峰会。
