The Master said, "Ci, you grudge your sheep; I grudge my rituals."
你可惜那只活羊，我爱惜那种礼节。
Zen Master said: "I am sorry, you only see the surface of the outcome."
禅师说：“我很遗憾，你只看到表面的胜负。”
The Master said, "Those who err through self-restraint are rare indeed."
孔子说，“因为约束自己而失误的人，是很少的。”
The Master said, "The virtuous are not solitary. They surely have neighbors."
孔子说，“有道德的人不会孤单，必定会有志同道合的人。”
Monk: Master said: it's just a beginning. Hold on! Overcome all difficulties.
和尚：师父说：你这才开始，坚持下去，克服困难！
The Master said, "There are people who write without knowing anything about it."
子曰，“盖有不知而作之者，我无是也。”
The Master said, "If one speaks unabashedl, he will find it difficult to practice."
孔子说，“一个人说起话来大言不惭，实际做起来就很困难了。”
The Master said: "People following different ways do not put their heads together."
先生说：“志向、主张不同的人，不在一起谋划事情。”
The Master said, "Those who discourse sincerely are always commended. Are they real gentlemen?"
孔子说，“言论笃实的人常受赞许，这种人是真正的君子呢？”
The Master said:"To prefer is better than to know , to find pleasure in it is better than to prefer."
孔子说：“懂得它的人不如爱好它的人，爱好它的人不如以它为乐的人。”
"Yes master", said Ranga, "this is what I am trying to do."
