于是哈曼设计陷害末底改，并向国王请求诛杀全国的犹太人。
He was surprised when the king told Haman to do all those good things to Mordecai the Jew.
当国王告诉他把他说的所有东西都赏赐给犹太人末底改时，哈曼很震惊。
"Now Haman thought to himself," Who is there that the king would rather honor than me?
哈曼心里说，王所喜悦尊荣的，不是我是谁呢？
Haman came in and the king asked Haman if he could think a reward for someone who the king wanted to honour.
这时哈曼来了，于是国王问他要如何赏赐一个自己想要赐赏的人。
So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king's wrath pacified.
于是人将哈曼挂在他为末底改所预备的木架上。王的忿怒这才止息。
And Mordecai came again to the king's gate. But Haman hasted to his house mourning, and having his head covered.
