Barry Salzberg of Deloitte says work-life programs are often dismantled in economic slowdowns, but he believes that investing in these programs now is particularly important to keep morale high.
Work-life experts caution that many flex-work programs appear more generous on paper than in practice and can be highly dependent on individual supervisors.
