According to a September company disclosure to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Wu owns 43.2% of Longfor through the Wu Family Trust, which she set up in June 2008, one year before the company listed in Hong Kong.
The ruby-colored dress was a follow-up to the white gown Wu made for her four years ago when she was new to Washington, the pomp and circumstance, and the fashion press.
"She was terrified to tell because she would not be able to take the advanced placement college courses (which he taught), " says Yolanda Wu, an attorney with the National Organization For Women (NOW) Legal Defense Fund.
