She added that in some cases the Welsh services were worse than those in England, but more generally the concerns surrounded patients facing longerwaiting times in Wales, no continuity of care and issues with public transport across the border.
Although there's no evidence the pacemaker helps patients live longer, doctors said some patients were able to come off the transplant waiting list and return to a fairly normal life.
