And he did say that he wanted to make sure that even as we call for responsible behavior, more responsible behavior in the black community, the government continues to do its job, and again, he got more applause.
But it's going to take a lot more than applause to help Encad.
And so far these investments have funded 83 supermarket projects in 34 counties, bringing nutritious food to more than 400, 000 people. (Applause.) And, more importantly in this economy, this investment is projected to create more than 5, 000 jobs. (Applause.) And these jobs are occurring often in communities that need them the most.
Will we be better off if more Americans get a better education? (Applause.) Will we better off if we depend less on foreign oil and more on our own ingenuity? (Applause.) Will we be better off if we start doing some nation-building at home?

We're moving forward. (Applause.) Now, after losing about 800, 000 jobs a month when I took office, our businesses have now added 5.2 million new jobs over the past two and a half years. (Applause.) This morning, we found out that the unemployment rate has fallen to its lowest level since I took office. (Applause.) More Americans entered the workforce.
