My point here is that, while I think this is a mistake, I hope it can be used to fuzzy up a previous mistake, which in my view was putting a date on the period of very low interest rates of at least mid-2013.
With the stock market up about 6 percent year-to-date, my bet is that many portfolio managers, particularly those who underperformed last year, will be taking profits this week from a very profitable first quarter of 2013.
