Back in southwestern Guangdong, farmer Chen is focusing on more short-term solutions.
“土地、劳动力和原材料成本在过去三年里都上涨了20%到30%，”广东恒兴公司董事长陈丹说。
"Land costs, labor costs, raw material costs, they've all gone up 20 to 30 percent in the last three years," says Chen Dan, chairman of Guangdong Evergreen.
