选择港，即允许收货人在预先提出的两个或两个以上的卸货港中，在货轮驶抵第一个备选港口前，按船公司规定的时间，将最后确定的卸货港通知船公司或其代理人，船方负责按通知的卸货港卸货。按一般航运惯例，如果货方未在规定时间将选定的卸货港通知船方，船方有权在任何一个备选港口卸货。
