案例教学，是一种开放式、互动式的新型教学方式。通常，案例教学要经过事先周密的策划和准备，要使用特定的案例并指导学生提前阅读，要组织学生开展讨论或争论，形成反复的互动与交流，并且，案例教学一般要结合一定理论，通过各种信息、知识、经验、观点的碰撞来达到启示理论和启迪思维的目的。在案例教学中，所使用的案例既不是编出来讲道理的故事，也不是写出来阐明事实的事例，而是为了达成明确的教学目的，基于一定的事实而编写的故事，它在用于课堂讨论和分析之后会使学生有所收获，从而提高学生分析问题和解决问题的能力。
