《惊奇故事》又译为《惊异故事》，美国知名科幻杂志，1926年由美国科幻杂志之父-雨果·根斯巴克（1884-1967）创刊。 后来在1953年有了以其名命名的“雨果奖”-“科幻小说成就奖”，虽然没有奖金，却是科幻界的“奥斯卡”，科幻作家都以获得雨果-星云双奖为荣（不排除少数特立独行者）。 1923年8月，根斯巴克尝试出了一期科幻小说专刊，大受欢迎。后来，在读者调查的鼓舞下，根斯巴克彻底改变办刊方向。
