奥氏体钢是正火后具有奥氏体组织的钢。钢中加入的合金元素(Ni、Mn、N、Cr等)能将使正火后的金属具有稳定的奥氏体组织。火电厂化水设备、蒸汽取样管常用的1Cr18Ni9、1Cr18Ni9Ti等钢均属此类。这类钢有较好的抗氧化和耐酸性能，能长期在540～875℃下工作，但容易产生晶界腐蚀的脆性破坏。
