国内法，“国际法”的对称。是指从法的创制和适用主体的角度对法所作的分类。指由特定的国家创制的并适用于本国主权所及范围内的法律。构成国内法的主体一般是个人或组织，国家在特定法律关系中可以成为主体。所规定的是以一国内部各种社会关系，并在本国主权所及领域范围内有效，如宪法、刑法、民法、行政法等。
外国法（foreign law）与国内法（national law）相对，通常是指法庭地法以外的其他国家的法律或其他法域的法律。一般说来这一概念较少引起歧义，不过仍有以下问题有待澄清：
