人与文化（Man and Culture） 美国人类学家威斯勒的学术论著，“克罗维尔社会科学丛书”之一。1923年由美国纽约托马斯·Y·克罗维尔出版公司刊行。全书共分3编17章。第一编题为文化的意义，主要论述文化的定义、语言与文化的关系、文化的变异等问题。第二编题为文化的形成与内容，主要论述文化特质、文化从、文化类型、文化区、文化中心等基本概念，说明文化特质如何通过独立发明、传播、趋同等方式获得，探讨文化特质——文化从的粘合、文化扩散、自然的传播、有意的传播、文化起源等问题。第三编题为文化与人类的关系，着重讨论作伪人类行为的文化、文化中的个人和种族、文化过程的合理化、人类的归化及其结果、发明与环境、族群环境等问题。在该书中，作者认为文化就是生活方式，因而任何一个民族都具有文化。该书不仅首次提出了文化特质、文化丛、文化类型、文化模式、文化中心等概念并加以界定和阐释，而且还较为系统地阐述了拨厄斯所提出的文化区概念，为文化研究作出了重要的贡献。——摘自《简明文化人类学词典》
