And some scattered around our car to protect us and to pull us out. My mind became blur as Derek quickly carried me to the side of the building where no missile can hit us. Now I stood, flat against the wall with Derek shielding me. I saw the street blocked from the burning car. The rest of the four other cars were scattered in the street. Men running in blurring speed to find the bastards. I heard Derek talking to others. The ones who attacked us weren't vampires. Just mere humans. I assumed Sam hired them to use it as distraction.
