针叶林（coniferous forest） 是 以针叶树为建群种所组成的各类森林的总称。包括常绿和落叶，耐寒、耐旱和喜温、喜湿等类型的针叶纯林和混交林。主要由云杉、冷杉、落叶松和松树等属一些耐寒树种组成。通常称为北方针叶林，也称泰加林。其中由落叶松组成的称为明亮针叶林，而以云杉、冷杉为建群树种的称为暗针叶林。
