崔天凯，男，1952年10月生于上海，籍贯浙江，美国霍普金斯大学国际公共政策硕士，资深外交官。 现任中华人民共和国驻美利坚合众国特命全权大使（第十任中国驻美大使）。

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Cui said that while bringing about new opportunities globalization makes some global challenges more severe.
据《华尔街日报》报道，崔天凯说：“我以为，当初有一些国家正在作茧自缚。”我盼望美国不要惹火烧身。
"I believe some countries now are playing with fire. And I hope the U. S. won't be burned by this fire," Cui said, as quoted by the Wall Street Journal.
