黑刺粉虱又名桔刺粉虱。属同翅目粉虱科。中国各产茶省均有分布。除为害茶外，还为害柑桔、油茶、梨、柿、葡萄等多种植物。若虫寄生在茶树叶背刺吸汁液，并诱发严重的烟煤病。病虫交加，养分丧失，光合作用受阻，树势衰弱，芽叶稀瘦，以致枝叶枯竭，严重发生时甚至引起枯枝死树。
