黄化（xanthation ）也称黄酸化或黄原酸化，黏胶纤维生产中的一个工序。将经老成后的碱纤维素，加入二硫化碳(CS2)与之反应，生成可溶解在稀碱液中的纤维素的黄原酸酯，故名黄化。该生成物呈橙黄色，能很好地溶解在稀碱液中，生成黏稠的胶体溶液，是为黏胶溶液。由于二硫化碳是易燃、易爆的有毒液体，黄化车间需有相应的防爆措施和严格的管理制度。
