麦蛾（Gelechiidae；gelechiid moths）鳞翅目(Lepidoptera)麦蛾科(Gelechiidae)麦蛾属的一种昆虫，已记载3,700多种，包括几种重要害虫。世界性分布。 成虫褐色，有灰色或银色斑纹。翅展一般19公釐，前翅狭。後翅的外缘凹入，翅顶尖突。幼虫色浅，无毛。生活方式不一，或蛀入植株中，或织网，或形成虫瘿，或将叶卷曲。
长期使用巴赛松(phoxim)防治积谷害虫后，本省最重要之鳞翅目积谷害虫 麦蛾 ( Sitotroga cerealella Olivier )部分品系已对巴赛松产生明显抗药性。
