高级农艺师是直接从事农业技术、试验、示范、推广、培训、科技管理等工作的农业技术人员技术职务名称的一种。 在我国专业技术人员技术职务序列中，高级农艺师属于副高级职务（相当于副教授级别），其上有正高级的研究员（相当于教授级别），其下有中级职务农艺师，再往下有初级职务助理农艺师和农业技术员。
