髌韧带patellar ligament，为股四头肌腱的延续部，是全身最强大的韧带之一，位于膝关节囊正前方。髌韧带上起自髌尖及其后方的粗面，向下止于胫骨结节，长约8cm，髌韧带的中部即为关节平面。髌韧带两侧有自股内侧肌和股外侧肌延续来的内、外侧支持带，以加强关节囊并防止髌骨向侧方脱位。
