香灰，是寺庙佛炉及家里供奉的香炉内燃烧香时所剩下的灰烬。市面上有专门销售针对初次使用香炉时所用的香炉灰，作为底灰，是从寺庙里收集而来，经法师开光。 香道灰，是品香时，熏香或者埋炭所使用的一种灰，细腻透气。香道已经和茶道一样越来越受到大家的推崇。
