风速传感器是可连续监测上述地点的风速、风量（风量=风速x横截面积）大小，能够对所处巷道的风速风量进行实时显示，是矿井通风安全参数测量的重要仪表。其传感器组件由风速传感器、风向传感器、传感器支架组成。主要适用于煤矿井下具有瓦斯爆炸危险的各矿井通风总回风巷、风口、井下主要测风站、扇风机井口、掘进工作面、采煤工作面等处，以及相应的矿产企业。
