颈肋是指第7颈椎上生发肋骨，是一种先天性畸形。文献报道，颈肋发生率为0.6%。55%的颈肋是在X线检查时偶然发现，并不出现临床症状。女性发生率高于男性。双侧同时出现颈肋者占50%。在单侧颈肋中，左右侧的发生率大致相等。
