青白瓷是汉族传统制瓷工艺中的珍品，宋代以景德镇为代表创烧的一种瓷器。青白瓷也叫“影青”、“隐青”、“映青”。指的是釉色介于青白二色之间，青中泛白、白中透青的一种瓷器。青白瓷是宋元时期景德镇及受其影响的窑场烧成的、具有独特风格和鲜明时代特征的新品种。由宋迄元，青白瓷盛烧不衰，青白瓷系窑场多分布在南方几省，主要有江西浮梁景德镇窑、南丰白舍窑、吉安永和窑，湖北江夏的湖泗窑，广东潮安窑，福建德化窑、泉州碗窑乡窑、同安窑、南安窑等。
唐朝时期，人们就在昌南建造窑坊(kiln),烧制出一种青白瓷(bluish white porcelain)。青白瓷色彩晶莹，有“人造玉器”的美称，因而远近闻名，并大量出口欧洲。
