所谓“零翻译”就是不用目的语中现成的词语译出源语中的词语，这里包含两层意思：第一层意思是指源语中的词汇故意不译；第二层意思是指不用目的语中现成的词语来翻译源语中的词语。笔者通过研究发现“零翻译”概念由三个方面的理据所支持：语言表达差异、文化差异以及源语词汇创新。
