陶轮是指一种可旋转的台面，陶壶以及其他陶制容器可以在上面转动成型。最简单的陶轮是脚踏陶轮。开动时陶工一只脚均匀地踩动一个碟形的物体或一根曲柄，以保持旋盘转动。电动陶轮也常被使用，转速可以自由调节。陶轮出现于古埃及和古代中国，一直使用至今。尽管在商业陶瓷生产中，除了制造大型缸瓦器仍要用到它之外，已基本不再使用了，但它仍然是陶瓷艺术家的基本工具之一。
