陈其钢，男，（1951--？）上海人，享誉法国欧洲乃至全世界音乐界的中国作曲家。在他身上，有着一种古典诗人般的气质，坚持用自己的音乐谱写女人，将中国的传统元素很好地融合于西方现代作曲之中，越来越受到国内听众的关注。 他是当今少数几个在世界音乐舞台上极为活跃的中国作曲家之一。十余年来，他的作品荣获了多项国际大奖，在他的倡导与帮助之下，世界著名的贝桑松国际青年。
