陆核（continental nucleus）是大陆块的中心部分。大陆地壳形成过程中最早阶段形成的硅铝质大陆块体，随后的大陆围绕其生成，因而它构成大陆的核心。表面呈缓斜圆丘状的相对稳定的陆块区。它经常有大块的基底岩石（往往为极古老的变质的前震旦系）出露并常常被具有陆缘海相沉积覆盖的地台所环绕。陆核在大地构造学上又称为陆盾或地盾。
